Social Concerns
Our purpose is threefold:
1) To educate our parishioners in the basic principles of Catholic social teachings and to keep them informed of the current developments.
2) To motivate parishioners to become involved in parish and diocesan social justice programs.
3) To promote advocacy for change in social conditions.
The Social Concerns Ministry organizes the following programs: the Giving Tree at Christmas, Voter Registration and Voter Education, working with Community Care, and also promotes Faithful Citizenship and Civic Responsibility.
